Default Lake of Tears

Well, I've been sampling new bands and I must say these guys are THE FUCKING SHIT!!!!!

I have only heard a few songs so far, but what I have heard so far borderlined mind-altering. I am in fucking love, here. Atmospheric, depressing and yet powerful at the same time. And best of all, so far all the vocals I've heard have been clean! It's my dream band.

I will definitely be grabing some shit up by these guys next spending spree.

If you watch this movie and go into a Taco Bell, and say to the cashier, "I need some extra sauce packets" guess what? You're getting twenty sauce packets because your face will punch him in the brain. I can't spoil the plot because THANK GOD THERE ISN'T ONE. Just ass kicking that kicks ass that, while said ass is getting kicked, is kicking yet more ass that's hitting someone's balls with a hammer made of ice but the ice is frozen whiskey.

Excerpt from a review of 300 which is the greatest review I've ever read.

no power metal!!!!!!!!!!!!

in addition to Reno: Lake of Tears play sad, moody, melodic rock/metal
well, I havn't got all their releases, only "Forever Autumn" and "Greater Art"

Forever Autumn's first track (So fell autumn rain) is of midtempo, very melodic (guitars, keyboard and piano-sound), spreading a somewhat sad mood.
on that album you have either slow, relaxed songs or midtempo-rockers.
Greater Art is much more guitar-oriented, most songs are midtempo-rockers. (if I remember well, there are much less keys than on Forever Autumn, at least not so apparent),

dunno about the new album
