"Let us know who you are, your name, what your username means, how did you hear of this forum, how did you get to know in-Quest!!! and maybe a pic of yourself.........."

Oki here I go,

I am the Dougbiatch aka the big balled bastard aka the bottenzot, guitar player for In-Quest since 1999. I'm the usually bad shaved one, the one with the wrong guitar, the drunk one at the wrong times and, as they say, the one that always arrives too late (though the drumbitch usually is the real cause for this ).

I really took my time coming up with this really cool nickname, and I ended up with the acronym "Douglas"; many people have looked it up in ancient mythology, sorcery manuals and old kranky computer games; but noone has found its origin; everyone comes up to me wondering where the hell i got this real occult and evil nickname from...I guess I have my moments every now and then.

I heard of the forum thru Miqe, who came up with the idea of having a forum here at HMAS. We were actually forced to do it by Soph, the trüe and kvlt webmistress of HMAS, who threatened us in several kinky ways (yes, it involved lube and latex) to have a forum up and running.

I got to know In-Quest since they are from my neighbourhood, so I basically grew up with them. I always thought of them as a really cool and skilled band, a band with a real message for once, a message of dedication, fun and friendship. Being an In-Quester is something that is in your blood I guess; I wouldn't trade this band for any other band out there, that's for sure....

Pics;

Haha! I'm pretty sure you're just softening the truth. Knowing soph, i'd say lube and latex just for a starter.
Send me a couple of IQ CDs with mike for this weekend.

User name: Stijn (I wasn't in a very inventive mood...)
Real name: Stijn
Age: 19 years old.
Place: somewhere in the province Antwerp, Belgium.
Hobbies: playing the guitar & some webdesigning.
Favorite Music Genre: Death Metal, Grindcore, Deathcore, Metalcore etc

The first time I heard In-Quest was on Studio Brussels; in a program called "De Bom". A couple of weeks later I bought the 'epileptic' CD, because I liked the song, and since then I am a big fan of them.

I heard of this forum through the official In-Quest site.

I'm Nosfer. Just a fan since not so long ago. I bought the In-Quest album "Destination : Pyroclasm" through my neighbour Hans and totally love it. Saw them for the first time in Dessel or Retie, I don't remember. Best gig I saw from them was in Achterbos (Peir Oan) ..mighty atmosphere!

I'm from Mol, turned 26 yrs old yesterday ... my birthday party in Beernem was quite okay

Pictures? Just check my site, http://users.pandora.be/Nosfer (click the british flag for the english version). I'm the weirdo with the glasses and semi-bald head ..

Oh fuck it I'll just post it here :

Just registered...

My real name is Nick (or NocK as some call me), will be 20 years old this saturday, living in Edegem (near Antwerp).
I got to know IN-Quest thanks to Peter Meynckens (singer of Axamenta) who I've known for quite some time now (and of course I'm a huge fan of the Axa-clan). I just asked for some good bands and he put on the Epileptic-album, song Scorched and I got interested. I've started visiting the website and after listening to the MP3's, I had to get that album!!! (Douglas might remember me when I ordered )
Probably the first time that I'll see you guys live will either be the Kaddish-gig (Schoten with Axamenta!!! ) or the Fear Factory-gig @ Hof Ter Loo...

I play drums in a band called Cooperate, hence the nickname.

I first saw In-Quest when they played at the Metal At The Attic-fest in Turnhout, I think the year was 1998. We were all pretty impressed by their performance. Indeed, they already ruled back then. The plan was to lure them to our hometown Mol and get them hooked on alcohol. This proved to be rather easy. I think it's safe to say that on that moment, Mol became the new homefront for In-Quest, even though none of the bandmembers live there.
I do have a picture, but it seems to be too large to attach. And since I don't know shit about computer stuff, I'm giving up. Cheers bombers!!!!!
