This is the review of the gig the band did yesterday at Kempen Death Fest, JH Tydeeh - Mol.

When I arrived Skull Collector was heading towards the end of their set. Saw two news tracks, which sounded suprisingly good, and a Cannibal Corpse cover 'Stripped, Raped and Strangled'. They pulled the cover off pretty well, considering they only have one guitarist.

Ordeal had a nice groove going on in their music, very energetic vocalist. Their music missed something to be truly outstanding. Quite promising already, however.

Amain's metalcore wasn't my thing. Quite tight, though. The vocals annoyed me in the long term.

In-Quest got on stage and bombarded the crowd into oblivion with their hypertight, technical groovy death metal. The setlist as I remember it, in no particular order: 'Scorched : A Reign Of Fire', 'Reverberated Human Callousness', 'Placid Vortex', 'In It For the Kill' (Pro-Pain cover, even did some guestvocals on that one ), 'Stahlmacht : Destruction Unbound', 'Epileptic' and 'The Imminence Of Disposition'.

Hey Mike! nice talking to you, mate. I was the guy with Sepsism shirt that chatted with you about 5 minutes after the stage was cleaned up.

Cheers to: Obscenum, Absynthium/Peter, Jochen and his girlfriend, Dookie, the Ill Fares the Land guys: Heyde and Bart (guitarist), the Skull Collector drunks: Bart (cheers! happy b-day!), Wouter (Mechelen connection) and Mark (did you cut your hair?), the friendly guy with his glasses that headbanged next to me.

I got kinda pissed/loco at my gear and kicked/punched it several times quite hard, cutting the flesh of my left hand... I messed up some parts but revanche this weekend!

Hehehe interesting thought :p:p:p

Well i'm in an examn overkill guys. But soon I will start to write lots of new leads and then I'll push myself to my limits again... I think the next album will cover the most intense lead work I've ever done.
So goes for rhythms, Jan and me are really pushing our boundaries this time... IT JUST FEELS DANG ALLRIGHT!!!
