Yeah, you heard me, I've got a quick question. I've got this German coin, actually, it's Prussian, but I am wondering if any fine German on this forum would be able to help me find a value for it, or even lead me to somewhere that could help me. MY dad has had it since he was a kid, so he probably found it sometime in the 60's, in his backyard. We've been living in Pittsburgh, and I know there was a strong German population here, and probably still is, so that explains the coin being here... Anyways, I've got a picture of it:

On the face side it reads: FRIEDR. WILHELM IV KOENIG V. PREUSSEN

On the back: EIN VEREINSTHALER XXX EIN PFUND FEIN 1860

Ich kenne jemanden, der sich mit Münzen auskennt, aber ich kann nicht gut Englisch.... ..vielleicht kann mir jemand mal die Frage auf Deutsch übersetzen, hab sie nämlich nicht verstanden!

OK, der Freund hat sie in einem Katalog gefunden, dort war der Wert dieser Münze (allerdings in etwas besser erhaltenem Zustand) vor 10 Jahren mit 186,- DM angegeben. Der Wert der Münzen ist vermutlich nicht besonders gestiegen, so daß diese Münze jetzt vielleicht so 70 - 80,- Euro Wert ist. Allerdings liegt scheinbar der Verkaufspreis von Münzen immer etwas unter dem eigentlichen Wert!

So, ich weiß, das ist kompliziert, aber vielleicht könnte das bitte jemand ins Englische übersetzen!? ;)
