when you know what BM is, then propaganda like this just makes you laugh, even if I`ve heard that this might was just a joke there are christians out there that serious mean shit like that. But of course not all christian are like that. But what amaze me even more is christian (like you guys) that listen to OMC and Dimmu Borgir and other BM bands, don`t you know that these band try to make to world free for religion (that include christianity), it seems absurd to me that you guys support people that fight agianst you. Well but I have lived so long that I know christian selten do logical things, so that christians support BM is actually no suprise even if I don\t understand it. Well there's nothing to really worry, christains. All the church burnings and what not were during the old school mayhem, days of black metal. None of that sort of stuff really goes on today in the scene, but i could be wrong, I live in massachusetts, USA. And the only info I get on what is going on over seas, is from the interweb. I agree I never really take there lyrics to heart, i never really could.

even if BM don`t fight physically against christianity anymore, they fight psychologic against christianity.
It is not that I don`t want christians to listen to BM, it`s just that I don`t understand why christians support someone that look upon them as enemies.
The main goal for BM is the get rid of christianity and religion gereral, so it seems abit weird that you support someone that wants to remove what your embrace.

I'm personally a Methodist turned Athiest turned Agnostic. I have never looked to lyrics for guidance in my views. That's the same as listening to a minister, preacher, pope or what have you. Lyrics are FUN to read on the same level a horror movie is to watch. But how often does someone take a movie for their own theologies and mimic them...not very often.

I must add that Christian Black Metal sounds like nothing but an oxymoron. I mean duh! C'mon, could it be any dumber sounding in title alone?

This is the point, BM lyrics are seriously against christianity, so why does some christians support something that is against them?

Maybe BM lyrics isn`t written right out what they mean, but it`s all sybols and pictures of their dispise of christianity.

So if a BM band write "kill the christians" it may not be that they what to kill christians, but they sertanly point out that they dislike christianity!!
