Peoples views on Galder joining Dimmu?

I personally almost creamed myself when I read the news. But this sets the bar even HIGHER for DB's next album. They are putting a lot of pressure on themselves by taking in all these big names. I hope they can respond and respond with some fucking killer music! For shit-sakes, they have three great vocalists now...they better!

Not only have they gained a formadable new axeman/vocalist, but they are also letting Fredrik Nordstrum produce! This album is going to have the air raid sirens going off for sure!

Its going to be fucking incredible, with an all star line up, and galder on lead i can't wait. Galder is the fucking man. My other hope is that dimmu will tour the USA again to support the new album and bring old man's child along for the ride!!!.

The problem I can forsee with Galder and Vortex in DB is that their gonna get fucking bored playing just the guitar and bass/backing vocals respectively. Both are incredibly gifted musicians at a number of musical disciplines, and I know Galder won't forsake his OMC for Dimmu when touring or recording schedules clash, and Vortex's golden vocal cords will be sadly wasted, and should be brought out of hibernation. The all star line-up didn't help Borknagar too much with their early albums, and in my blood filled chalice I can forsee DB's lineup crumbling if their uncoming opus isn't a killer. Serves them right for sacking Stian Aarstad, keyboard/synth wizard. Get Stian for OMC's next album, his work on Enthroned... is pure brilliance. I am now going to retreat to my coffin.

Stian was fucking brilliant on EDT. They didn't sack him by the way. He left the dimmu borgir.

DB did sack Stian Aarstad after he had problems attending rehersals and other shows. Stian is a musical god, and i hope we will see him again in a better band thean Enthral.
