How do you guys like them? Personally, I've heard Disfear and Lock-Up, and both bands are very energetic and heavy as hell. I'm looking into getting some Great Deceiver soon, so if someone could offer up what style they are and some backround, that would kick ass.

I've heard some Great Deceiver some time ago, and from what I remember I can say that it's not very usual "swedish metal", it's like... dark thrash metal. But I guess you can judge by yourself downloading this song:

Well, i have to say that i'm a fan of Tomas Lindbergs works, i as well like the bands you mensioned before and some other he has been in like Grotesque, and one desepcion (the las the great deceiver) wont make me change my mind about him.

To me, Tomas is the greatest extrem vocalist in the world. I definitely like all, he puts out(espescially Nightrage and the divine ATG stuff)

tompa is really great. i love At The Gates, Nightrage and the "Crowned In Terror" album of The Crown.
i have one song of The Great Deceiver called "The Living End" and i don't like it. the vocals are good but the music isn't my kind of thing...
Lockup is cool, but i don't like that straigth-ahead Death metal or Grindcore or what it is. i need melodies ... so At The Gates and Nightrage are just great with the music and Tompa's vocals.
I never heard Disfear and Skitsystem.

Disfear is is pretty much a slam you in the face metal band. They rock.

i believe he also did some vocals on ceremonial oath's second album "carpet" which is pretty good.

ah yes forgot about that! track 4-6 on that album has Tompa on vocals. also great.
