for the weekend?
friday - start my six week holiday in style. me and my friends are heading out for a mexican meal and plenty of beer.
saturday - go back to the gym. damn i need to.
sunday - FUCK ALL. yippyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
OKi, this weekend!
Friday: Starting off the day with trying to finalize the lyrics for the first new song, noooo I'm not gonna reveal the title just yet! :finger: :P
Then head off to town (Antwerp) to look for some speakers for the rehearsal.
In the Evening I'm heading out to a club to see a concert with my old pals Suhrim toghether with Battalion, Axamenta and Bütcher, a few beers too I guess....
Saturday: I'm off to Ghent to do a gig in the Frontline (gentse feesten) with Spawn of Possession, Visceral Bleeding, Leng T'che + a few more bands... a few beers again I guess....
Sunday: nothing planned.... probably a couch potatoe day!!! Start loading the batteries for the following weekend (gig at the Goodlife fest with Aborted etc.)

Yesterday (friday) - Finalize the work on the website i've been working on. ;)
Today (saturday) - Work till 10pm, then fuck around in photoshop
Sunday - Work and probably hang out with some buds. We'll see. Sunday's are weird.

Tomorrow we're going on a bicycle - pub - bicycle - pub ride with Ingrid and David (Hellsonics), Jolle (Suhrim), Dave (Unleash the Fury) and some other creative mofo's!!! Veeeeerrrryyyyy curious to find out how and where we'll end up :P
PS: this was not a commercial for other underground bands :D

Miqe and I are in Mallorca, or is it ON Mallorca!!!!
We're havin' a ball here and the weather is fantastic. We also visited the local
metal bar "Excalibur" last night where Miqe made sure they played some IQ of course.

Well this turned out to be a great but intensive weekend for me!!!
FRIDAY: hard partying will Jolle from Suhrim and other friends in Antwerp (den Drempel) me and Jolle are about to start up a Metal Club there too... :cool:
SATURDAY: gig with IQ as last band in Zomergem close to Gent got really drunk in the end too FuQing hell, sleep over at Dogge's place.
SUNDAY: up around 08:00 drive to Arend(r)onk for rehearsal at 10:00, then back to Antwerp, got ready and drive to Gent (the Frontline) for the Pro-pain gig....
Gig Kicked ass!!! :twisted:
I missed the first band, outside talking to Douglas....
Carnal Forge ruled and the new singer really did a great job, I know his previous band Slapdash from Sweden aswell....
Pro-Pain came in and just took over the place, I will probably go and check 'em out again in Biebob on saturday! it will be interesting to hear what Gary MesKILL will think of the IQ version of In For the Kill... :P
Sucky part was the delay and that it wasn't sure if the gig was going through at all, they needed at least 50 paying visitors i heard... cool it turned out to be around 100!!!! Not bad for only booking the gig 3 days before and no promotion what so ever, hahaha i heard from the dudes of CF that the PP guys just walked around allday being pissed off, saying "THIS IS BULLSHIT" and just wanting to leave the place!!!! :)
