Imho, it had great energy in it, just unbelievable. And superb vibe and groove! Songwriting was on the top as well. I don't want to say that the rest albums are worse, I'd rather say this one is one head taller than the others. :Unholy:

as a debut, "like an everflowing stream" is much better than "left hand path". entombed just had the big advantage of releasing their album a bit earlier. :finger:

Oh god, where do I start? Well, the guitar riffs are mind blowing. Say for example the song "Dismembered". The opening guitar riff is haunting as hell. Also, "In Death's Sleep" guitar riffs sound like you are in a cemetary (hard to explain). I always thought of being in a cemetary at night when listening to the song. The lyrics are well done. Matti's voice is excellent. The drumming as well is awesome.

They have great chemistry in that album. Everything fit very well.
