Damn awesome! My hopes were so damn high I was afraid Insomnium just couldnt meet them but they did. Tempo issues were something I doubted but the few listening sessions just prove my thoughts false. Probably they add just the replay-value as record isnt just the same from beginning to end. Great work Insomnium, I salute you! \m/

Woah. This is really a great album. The vocals have changed, that was my first thought. Niilo sounds a bit like Dark Tranquillity's Stanne. :)

Difficult album, doesn't really open up at the first hearing like Halls did. My favourite songs so far are Daughter of the Moon and Death Walked The Earth. And I looooove the lyrics. :)

Great, that's what the new album is....It sounds fresh, like new albums should.... I can hear some resemblance to Opeth, and I don't know if it is such a good thing....But still boys have done a great job..:)

Oh no! Blasphemy. Talking bad about Opeth? Sorry, just sick of all of the Opeth hype. They really aren't that great. (Don't hassle me, I've heard every one of their albums, and I don't think they're that great).

Anywho, "Since the Day it All Came Down" is an incredible CD.. Among one of my favorites.. Good work..

I still don't like them...if you listen to some of the songs in the Since the day, you can hear the Opeth resemblance, and as I have already posted, I do not see it as a good thing, because: Opeth is utterly boring, which Insomnium truly isn't, although there is some resemblance in this new album....Still, as i have already said, I truly like the new album!!! :)

Opeth puts me to sleep. "Since the Day it All Came Down" is one of the best albums of the last decade.

I agree, Opeth is pretty boring...or it's just too artistic for me or something. I just ordered Since the Day It All Came Down from CDON a couple of days ago... those sons of bitches haven't even sent me that cd yet. Have to wait until next week. I think it's because I ordered Finntroll's Naddfödd at the same time, but it's not released yet. I also ordered Exhorder, kick-ass.

Would you be so kind and give me some impressions of the new ablum? :) Plz write down the Lyrics, because to me, they're as important as the voice itself. I could already listen to some Tracks in a promo-CD and i need to compare the lyrics with the songs to make a decision whether i buy the album or not.

PS: My english is rather bad, I'm from germany, but i hope you could understand it.

Yeah, I got it today! The cd really surprised me. I didn't expect anything special after hearing the samples on the official page...but this cd is really awesome. The distorted melodies may not be as impressive than those on the first album, but riffing and acoustics got better! There are maybe too much those acoustic bridges, but overall...great job.

well, this album must the the least fallacious piece of music i've ever listend to... feels like the Insomnium song creator(s) put very much into the songs. the melody is world class! can not think if the next album is as great as this im going to order five copies just for the band...
