Suidakra - Emprise to Avalon
Divercia - Modus Operandi

Any opinions on either of these album?

I've heard the Suidakra album before so I know I'll love that one already. Only heard a short clip of Divercia but that convinced me to order it. You guys heard em? What do you think?

I have their MCD Planeteer (yet under the old name "Lost In Twilight"). when I heard it first time, I thought I don't like it much, but then I had it running over the weekend and I found that it does have a certain charme (well, the voice could be a bit less cheesy there .... :p )

Well, like i said before, Solardisk is selling those quite cheap at the moment. Both vinyls plus postage only 22€, if i remember correct, (end of commercial:)

Just received MRR, finally! I have to admit I'm a little bit disappointed. They no longer sound at all like they used to. I hoped for bass or drum solos... and lots of other things. But it's straight-up rock and roll through and through. But it's still great. I was also hoping for a couple Ichor-ish songs, but oh well... and most of all I was hoping for more cool stuff like the start of Utopia Anno Zero.

At least Maike and Taneli have more room to shine.

Crimson Idol is very good, even tho I like Still Not Black Enough more, but both are very good, who would have know back when they started and who would have known that I would again listen to them, some 15 years after I first heard them :o

Anyway, my Man's Ruin Revisited arrived and I couldn't be happier, it's more like a mix between Ichor and Doomsday Sun, which is excellent since I didn't much like Utopia (but only in comparison to the other 2, it's still TBL after all ;) )

Yes he's really hard to find. In France for sure but in Finland too cause the buyer is finnish...

Well they sell cds at all sorts of places like gasstations, foodstores, supermarkets etc. Especially here in the northern parts where there are basically no record stores at all...

I usually buy all my records online...

This is not the digipack version :depressed but a crystal one from Brazil found on eBay. I think there is one now if you want.
I've missed the digipack 2 month ago, sold at 50 euro approx.

The other three are very simplistic and close-to-the-original versions. Three good songs though (all better in their original versions) and of course with the Sentenced flavour, mostly due to Ville's voice. They are not worth spending a lot of money on, if that was your question :)

The cover are very close to the original ones. But it's good to hear sentenced covering radiohead ! :)
For the crystal version it seem that it was only released in Brazil, I was surprised too but...
It's true that's a lot of money. North from here LP had been sold 81 euros .... :shocked: amazing. I'm searching for it but it's too expensive

I love it! I've never heard their previous works actually but I've seen this new one getting poor reviews. I just stated a few days ago in the "General Discussion" forum here at HMAS that it has overtaken the spot for my favourite black metal album of all time.

i just got home and i'm totally euphoric :D

went half heartedly into a CD shop, cos they had advertised to be selling Amorphis' new album at 12,99 euros.
if i hadn't had my senses working properly together, I would have gone out with about 10 CDs...
they even had Diablo's Mimic 47 :banana:
and lot of other good CDs at 9,99

well, anyway, these made it to my bag in the end:
